I have been always wary even skeptical about TV programs wanting to protect my son from negative influence. But as he grew older, I knew I could not entirely banish TV from his life only limit it and filter it.

Fortunately, we shifted to Singapore where I discovered Playhouse Disney Asia - a lovely basket of children's programs -educative, entertaining and engaging! I am happy to explore a child's world with my son on Playhouse Disney for 2 hours everyday, whoopie! ''Bless you John Gray'',  "Is your soul a woman's?" -my Venus heart has been exclaiming ever since I started reading the best-selling book, "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus," written by author and counselor, Dr. John Gray. In all probability most women out there would have read this book- & the men??? Well, who said Martians ( men from Mars ) can READ? Yes, I know my review comes too late in the day- its a 19 year old best-selling book, published in 1992 which has sold millions of copies worldwide and has attracted comments and criticism alike. But then I was a tad too young for this- could not have been bothered by self-help books, did not understand how grown up relationships could be and hated studying about planets and the rest of the solar system! On Board with the Dreams Infinite Foundation - Empowering Women through Education, one Scholar at a Time!

Hello everyone...today my blog post is very different...its neither parenting oriented, nor is it a book review or a recipe...its rather about women empowerment and about my very recent association with a wonderful organisation called the Dreams Infinite Foundation. Read on.... A couple of weeks back, I was approached by the founder of a volunteer-run, non profit organisation called Dreams Infinite Foundation to provide content for their website and blog. The lady very graciously wrote in her mail that due to the organisation's structure and size, they could not compensate me monetarily but it would be personally satisfying as it was for a very good cause.  Intrigued and still a bit sceptical I visited their website and Facebook page and read about the organisation's ethos, its mission, its team and its efforts.
